I am very Type A.  I like to be on time.  I like to have a plan.  I love sleep.  I had committments that I thought were top priority and rarely had a week where I didnt have at least 2 things going on during the weeknights.  I worked a lot during busy season, and thought my career was one of my top defining things about me.

Then, in October of 2011, one of the best things to have ever happened to me entered our lives.  Baby Jacob.  With lots of wild black hair, and the funniest shocked expression, he has turned my world upside down.  My priorities have changed.  My view on life has changed.  I've changed.

Who knew that getting that first giggle to burble up would be so exciting?  Or the heart melt of a gummy smile?  That no matter how exhausted you are, and so frustrated, the cutest little yawn can make you smile and relax, realizing, that sleep will come eventually (I hope sooner than later...)

Now I work part time.  My plans for the week are to go to ECFE class on tues afternoons, and otherwise, I look forward to playing with the little drool bundle.  My career is not my top definition, but being a mama is.
